PTTK / APTT

The APTT test measures the time it takes for blood to clot through the intrinsic pathway. It is used to detect bleeding disorders, clotting factor deficiencies, and to monitor patients on heparin therapy. Abnormal results may indicate liver disease or coagulation abnormalities.
