APTT

APTT measures how long blood takes to clot and helps evaluate the intrinsic pathway of coagulation. It is used to detect bleeding disorders, monitor heparin therapy, and assess clotting factor deficiencies. Prolonged APTT indicates abnormal or slow clot formation.
